Non-Medical Fees
Whilst Tamborine Mountain is home to a tight-knit community, we do get a lot of tourists come to see our beautiful waterfalls, breath-taking scenery and leafy bushland.
Whilst the mountain air and lovely walks are enjoyed by many, sickness doesn’t discriminate, and you might find yourself in our lovely part of the world feeling less than great. At times like these you can come to Mountain Medical Centre; we take walk-in private patients.
How private fees work at our medical centre
Don’t worry you can still visit our medical centre even if you don’t have, or do not qualify for a Medicare card.
There’s nothing worse than being sick on holiday, and by visiting our local medical centre on Tamborine Mountain we can resolve the issue, so you can enjoy the rest of your holiday, or refer you on for further treatment if needed; either way you get peace of mind that your health is well looked after.
We welcome all private patients to our clinic: men, women, and children. As a private patient you’ll receive the same high level of care that the locals have enjoyed for many years.
The standard consultation fee for visiting our centre is $80.
A medical centre that centres around your health
We see private patients from the regions of the Gold Coast, Tamborine Mountain, and Tweed (NSW), so if you’re in the area and you just don’t feel yourself, pop in and see one of our friendly doctors.
Towns surrounding our clinic include:
- Eagle Heights
- Tamborine Mountain
- North Tamborine
- Canungra
- Mt Nathan
- Nerang
- Coomera
- Wongawallan
Book an appointment at our medical centre
If you do not hold a Medicare card, you can still book a consultation with us. After your appointment, our lovely receptionist will process your payment and provide you with a receipt, so you can claim against your Private Health or Travel Insurance.
If you are a Medicare card holder, you will be bulk billed under the Australian Government’s Bulk Billing scheme.
